TRAVEL

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Travel is one of my favorite things to enjoy. I enjoy traveling alone, however I find it more enjoyable if I can share my experience with other people. Years ago my family and I went to visit the Chichen Itza ruins, what an experience! The magnificent old pyramides hide all kinds of secrets, they witnessed incredible events. It is unbelievable how the pyramids have withstood the test of time. Unforgetable and impressive Mayan ceremonial centers are great places to explore, thinking about the Mayan culture transports me to another time and place, I can forget about anything causing me stress.object width=”480″ height=”385″>
Renting a wonderful resort makes your vacation appealing and memorable for your family and friends. After visiting many historic sites I feel energized and recharged. Yosemite Valley is another place that can make me forget stressors, allowing my spirit to be renewed by the fresh air and beautiful natural spring, summer and fall or even winter landscape.
If I had to choose a season to visit Yosemite Valley , difficult choice because spring, and winter are so beautiful. Camping is an adventure, however I do prefer to limit it to a day or two and default to renting a resort. I like to be comfortable.

Sleeping problems are definitely part of life, some people suffer from insomnia and some from hypersomnia. Both problems can disrupt a person’s life in many ways. If you are not able to sleep as it happens with insomnia you are experiencing tiredness, mood changes, and lack of production in the workplace. When you are not able to get needed rest and sleep, your body’s performance declines, potentially costing you your job! Try this home remedy, apply warm compresses to your feet, keep them on all night. Drink plenty of water during the day, avoid drinking water one hour before bedtime.
Some people have the oposite problem, sleeping too much. How much is too much? Too much is when the person sleeps during any activity. Some people can not wake up even with a very loud alarm clock next to them, sleeping twelve hours or more, posing real life problems. If the person sleeps most of the day away, how can she or he participate in life. Usted es su propia fabrica de Colesterol!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

You are your own CHOLESTEROL source!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Cholesterol- Is it a good FAT?
Cholesterol is a form of fat, it is good and it is bad.
It is good when cholesterol a form of FAT is employed by the cell membrane to contribute in the development of SEX HORMONES such as estrogen and testosterone.
The interesting fact about cholesterol is that the amount of cholesterol your body needs to survive, your body already makes. Your body has a cholesterol factory- The liver.
We do not need outside cholesterol sources. Your Dr. can test your blood cholesterol level. If your level is less than 200 it is ideal. Check with your Dr. about high density and low density levels.
It is bad if you allow yourself to take in excessive amounts of cholesterol; over the course of time cholesterol collects on the vein walls as thick rugged paint coats, contributing to narrowing and hardening of your veins and arteries.
What is even worse, the rugged areas are a perect place for blood clots fo be trapped. When you develop a blood clot, the blood clot has two choices: one to dissolve or two to remain intact and to interfere with your blood circulation;causing circulation blockage and lack of oxygen distribution. Watch your cholesterol intake. Cholesterol sources are: animal products(saturated fats), and the only vegetable source coconut.

Do you have mingle phobia? Do you find it hard to initiate conversations with people you don’t know? Do you fear being judged by others? Don’t confuse mingle phobia with shyness because they are quite different from each other. Having a social phobia is when you have a fear of people, speaking publicly, at parties, meetings, classes and other situations that include getting up in front of people or interacting with people. Having mingle/social phobia can be hazardous to your life always being afraid of what people are going to say, think or criticize about you. A person with mingle phobia know they have an irrational fear but continue to feel the same way. People suffering from mingle/social phobia will let it consume their life and may not finish school, quit their job, or not want to get married or get close to anyone. Some people with this type of anxiety may resort to using alcohol or drugs to make it through social situations.

How do overcome such a phobia? The trick is get in control of your fear and put yourself into the situations that you find hard to deal with; this is the only way for you to learn how to get better with coping with the stress. Take pride in your self-image, you may be different from others but everyone’s different from each other. Don’t worry about making a fool of yourself, everyone is afraid to screw up in front of other people. Be confident and don’t let yourself be afraid to get out and mingle.
