On Raising the Debt Ceiling

Now that we are hearing alot about the debt ceiling, we are also hearing about the need to raise the limit so that we do not default. The Congress and the President are currently in a spat on whether we should raise the limit, by how much, and for how long. This is a problem that has been coming since George W. Bush began his wastefull spending. That spending has been increased, expanded upon, and even accelerated by President Barack Obama. Now, thanks to those two men in their infinate wisdom, we are in economic strains.

The main reason why we should not raise the debt limit is because it will only encourage more wasteful spending, and it will not hold the government to account on what it should do, which is to lower taxes and cut spending. Ir de compras es un placer, un regalo a uno o una mismo(a).  Es un placer, especialmente si se tiene el dinero para comprar lo que uno desea o necesita, o lo que uno simplemete quiere. Ya sea que lo compre para si mismo o para regalarselo a otra persona.

En si el regalo de irse de compras o de regalarse algo comienza al tomar la jornada que culmino en la compra del objeto deseado. Digamos que ya tiene el objeto en sus manos, hay que pensar como es que llego a este punto o este lugar tan importante, el gozo de comprar algo. Para lograr simplemente ir de compras y finalmente comprar algo hay que primeramente trabajar. Cuando se tiene trabajo, la posibilidad de ganar dinero es real; ya que ha trabajado a pesar de las dificultades que se presenten, quizas hay que lidiar con personas que por regla general no se llevan bien con la gente y usted no es la excepcion. 2010 November Elections

This November 2010 is a very important date, you must have it in your agenda. The future of California depends on your action. I am referring to the importance of your vote. It is true, every vote counts. If you decide to sit and do nothing you are making a decision that can also tip the scales in favor or against what you would like to see in the future of your country.
Vote your conscience, personally I want to vote to decrease taxes, keep government out of our personal lives, keep government from getting bigger and bigger. I work too hard to have politicians superfluously spend my hard earned dollars.
I want to see my tax dollars at work. I pray that God  will send  us good leaders who are honest, strong, caring, passionate about helping edify our country. I do not believe that redistributing of  wealth is a good system to follow. I know that there are those who need some help if they are born with impediments that keep them from taking care of themselves, provisions and allowances need to be made for them, however those who are able to take care of themselves, should and must take care of themselves. Parents are responsible for the care of their children and must not expect the government to provide every time there is  a  need. There is great satisfaction in providing for once family. The government is not your father or mother. We need real jobs to earn money so we can provide for our families. Voting is a must this November!

Health and Life vs Disease and Death!

After reading this post, your life can not remain the same. First of all you are your own boss, when it comes to what kinds of things you eat, and drink. You are also your own boss when it comes to your body’s activity level. Life is about choices made and to be made, and progressively being made. In parenthesis once you reach the point of death, you have no more choices, it is irreversible.  Today is the day you can make a difference in your own life, you might not know it but you are very important to those around you. Your choices do affect others, they can turn into a cascade of events that modify other individuals lives, for the better or for the worse.

Choosing the right foods for your body, keeps your body healthy, it can give you clarity of thought. It is nature’s way to give you your reward. Rewards are not punishments, they are considered consequences. I like the idea of a good consequence, thus a good reward.

To have good health, we must walk the walk, not just talk the talk. If we do not have good habits  and we disregard the  critical principles of health by overeating, drinking the wrong things, dressing inappropriately for the weather, working without a deserved rest, we can not blame God or others for our diseases and near death events.

Take  time to with a critical eye, examine your actions or choices, know that good health can not be bought with money, other things in life you can not buy, and those are: true friends, time and much searched peace of mind.

Recently I was reading in the “Penny Saver” more ways to save money, one interesting way I found is using coupons if you are recycling bottles and cans; to add to your savings coupons have been posted for you, with the various recycling center locations where you can bring your recyclable cans, bottles and even newspapers to the recycling center when you turn in your cans and plastic bottles. One more way to save money in a big way is to shop around if you are in need of auto parts. Usually auto parts are more expensive if you get them from the auto dealer, because the company has so much overhead to cover. I have bought from stores like Auto Zone, they are usually pretty good at saving you money, sometimes by 60%. If you know a good mechanic who is honest and can give you a reasonable price for his or her labor, you can save a bundle of money. For instance if your car is leaking oil and you find out that you need to change the oil pan, some dealers sell the oil pan for more than 100.00 dollars, the auto-parts store sells it for less than 50%. You just have to do your homework, this way your buck will buy more, and you will be able to meet the challenge. It sure helps decrease your stress level, if you can save money!

It is very painful when you have to pay 600.00 dollars for something that can be done for 125.00 dollars.
