The well known novel about the Hobbit named Frodo Baggins who inherits a ring from his adopted uncle Bilbo.A wizard shows up in this book, Gandalf is his name. He does research on the rings and tells Frodo that the ring belonged to a Dark Lord bent on domination. In the end the ring must be destroyed.
