Religious beliefs

If your office is anything like my mine, there are not many people that share their religious beliefs (if they have any) because of the fear of being ridiculed. There are many people in the workplace that do not worship regularly or do not have a faith base so when you do mention religion everyone right away thinks that you are some kind of radical. Religion in the workplace has become so difficult in the past decade and one has to be very careful that they do not offend anybody.

So how would one go about sharing their faith in the workplace? First, we should consider a quiet testimony; this one speaks louder with any words. You should be a loyal and faithful employee and not bad mouth your employer or co-workers. After all no one is perfect, so why should we think we will have the perfect boss or colleagues. When you are working for the Lord, you will have the ability to handle on the job stress while treating others with kindness and patients. You can speak volumes by “walking the walk” and being an example of a true Christian by not involving yourself in gossip and abusing the employers time. We should work with all our heart, as if we are working for the Lord. With you leading by example in time the doors will open for you to share your faith with co-workers because they will come to you to ask how you do it, at that time you can then share your faith with gentleness and respect and give the reasons for your hope that you have.
